Producer in Phoenix

I've lived in many great "music" cities in America and keep finding my way back to Phoenix, AZ. I am not bothered by the 119 degree heat for three months in the summer and love the fact that we don't have earthquakes, hurricanes or deep freezes. I've experienced all of the above and I don't miss the natural disasters at all. Aside from the great weather, I have found a rich musical diversity in this massive city. One of the great things about the music scene in Phoenix is the ferocious attitude and modern, futuristic sounds the bands here reach for. The city has always grown up in the shadow of nearby Los Angeles and I think that the inferiority complex has finally transformed into more of a rivalry. The musical identity of 21st century Phoenix, AZ is finally starting to emerge. Metal bands and Rap groups are no longer looking to L.A for inspiration but looking within the Valley of the Sun to find their true sound. Artists from all over the world are coming here to record albums and play gigs and end up loving it so much that they stay. This only adds to the talent pool and makes for a great place to be working as a musician and producer.
